    Closure of the Multi-purpose Room 2 in the Learning Garden

    The Multi-purpose Room 2 in the Learning Garden will be closed and the online booking service for this room will be deactivated from 19 December 2016 (Monday).

    The Multi-purpose Room 2 will be converted to a Maker Bubble space to provide a fabrication space and co-working makerspace. This fabrication space includes:

    We are delighted to announce that CUHK Electronic Theses & Dissertations (ETD) Collection is now accessible at the newly launched CUHK Digital Repository .

    On this new platform, about 2,500 volumes of doctoral dissertations that were previously available in microfiches were added to make the Collection a complete set of theses and dissertations produced by our research postgraduate community. In addition, users are able to browse and search in this Collection by author, degree, department/division and year, or across all collections in the Repository.     Web For All Gold Award

    CUHK Library website has won its first Gold Award in the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2016, jointly organised by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) and the Equal Opportunities Commission.

    The Library website met the criteria to provide better web accessibility features to all users of the website. The Library’s mobile-responsive website was redesigned last year with new features such interactive floor plans and real time availability of PCs, together with the fundamental aim to improve accessibility.
