    Last semester, three exchange students from Fine Arts Department embarked on their learning journeys in Beijing, China and Leeds, U.K. respectively. This exhibition would present what they have learnt and thought during their exchange programmes through a wide variety of artworks. As exchange students, their lives were oftentimes challenged by cultural and learning differences - while they seek to adapt to foreign cultures and education, they at the same time become more aware of the uniqueness of their own cultural roots.     Few of us have come to think that they connect us with the past. But they do.

    They tell us what the ancient jade and stone craftsmen found in the natural world. We very much learnt from what they found.

    We tell a short story of their findings in this exhibition, through which we hope to honour our craftsmen.
