Study Room / Online Interview Room

Online Interview Rooms are available at Lee Quo Wei Law Library on 3/F & 4/F of the Tin Ka Ping Building. Users who are holding a valid CU Link Card or CUHK Library Card may book the room for online meetings / seminars, or for self-study. The room is equipped with LED screen, whiteboard and Wi-Fi connection.

 

Where are the Online Interview Rooms?

 

Guidelines for using Online Interview Rooms

To ensure fair access to all eligible users, please observe the following guidelines:

  1. Online Interview Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Booking can be made 7 days in advance through the Library Room Booking System.
  2. Online Interview Rooms can be reserved and occupied by a single eligible user.
  3. Duration of each booking session is 30-minute within Library Opening Hours.
  4. One session for a maximum of 4 continuous slots (or 2 hours) can be reserved per day.
  5. A maximum of 2 sessions can be made per week (from Sunday to Saturday) per eligible user.
  6. Users are required to swipe their CU Link Cards/ Library Cards at the designated check-in readers to enter the room. If a user books 4 continuous slots from 13:00 to 15:00 within one single booking, he/she will only need to swipe his/her card once at 13:00. On the other hand, if the 4 continuous slots are booked separately, e.g. first booking: 13:00-13:30; second booking: 13:30-15:00, the user of the room will need to swipe his/her card twice at 13:00 and 13:30 respectively.
  7. Requesters who failed to check-in to the reserved room 10 minutes into the booking session will have their their reservation automatically forfeited but still count against the quota limit.
  8. No-show without making any cancellation will count against the quota limit.
  9. Eating or drinking is strictly prohibited in the room.
  10. Users are responsible for any damages of the furniture and equipment in the rooms.
  11. Unless otherwise approved by the University Librarian, the Online Interview Rooms at CUHK Library are reserved for booking and use by eligible CUHK members for educational and non-commercial purposes ONLY.
