TINY Revives the Charm of Old Hong Kong
As the city develops, many landscapes and objects slowly fade away. While some document these changes through photographs and artifacts, Steve Ng has chosen to establish TINY, focusing on creating scenic models of Hong Kong’s unique streets, buildings, shops, facilities, and vehicles. This showcases the Hong Kong’s distinctive features and preserves the memories of local people.
Co-organized by the CUHK Library and EPIN, this session will delve into the story and creative process behind TINY. It will also feature a 3D printing workshop to demonstrate the technology used in model making.
Let’s step into the world of TINY and rediscover the history and culture of old Hong Kong!
