Description:
This workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of Python programming specifically tailored for data science. We begin with the basics, such as using the print() function and understanding variables. Participants will explore essential data types, including strings, numbers, and Booleans, as well as how to structure data using lists, tuples, and dictionaries. The workshop then covers control flow, demonstrating how to implement branching with if, if-else, and if-elif-else statements, alongside looping techniques using for and while loops. Finally, we will illustrate the concept of functions, showcasing how they allow for the creation of reusable code blocks that perform specific tasks, enhancing efficiency and organization in programming.
