Effective Academic Presentations for Postgraduate Studies

The Library arranged a presentation skills discussion workshop to be held at the Idea Exchange for postgraduate students. The 2-session workshop aimed to raise participants’ awareness of the preparation process of an informative presentation.

It covered topics such as audience analysis, organizational patterns for informative speeches, quality visual aids, and question-and-answer skills. Participants had the opportunities to practice presenting their own research, and receive feedback from the audience.
