Introdcution
Mr. Dai was graduated from CU Education Diploma (majored in Fine Arts). This exhibition is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Chinese University. Mr. Dai will use the watercolour as the media to express his emotion to the natural and beautiful landscape of the CU campus as well as its development all these years.

Strategies to Get Your Research Papers Published
Professor Rossa Chiu of Department of Chemical Pathology, CUHK, winner of international research awards and prolific author with over 100 research papers published, provided a talk to researchers and postgraduate students on strategies to get research papers published. Prof. Chiu spoke from an author's perspective in this talk. While the talk was more relevant for those in biological and medical sciences, all interested researchers and postgraduate students were welcome to register.

The Library arranged a presentation skills discussion workshop to be held at the Idea Exchange for postgraduate students. The 2-session workshop aimed to raise participants' awareness of the preparation process of an informative presentation.
It covered topics such as audience analysis, organizational patterns for informative speeches, quality visual aids, and question-and-answer skills. Participants had the opportunities to practice presenting their own research, and receive feedback from the audience.

2013年1月1日,我更開始了我的攝影365計劃,每天拍一張相,上載到社交網站上,跟朋友分享。我一直都很想跟身邊的人──認識的也好,不認識的就更好,與我分享我的作品及攝影的那份樂趣,在過去的大半年,我每天都上載一張相到社交網站,跟朋友分享我的快樂,而朋友們也能感受到這份喜悅,但我更想透過籌辦一個個人影展,與中大的同學分享這份攝影快樂。
365計劃內的相並不特別出色,題材也不特別,我通常都是取材於身邊的事物,但是我常常都能從中發現美麗的地方。我希望透過這個相展來告訴大家,即使身邊在日常不過的事物,也會有當中美麗新奇的地方。
