The Joy and Career Development Path in the Finance Industry
The Library invited Mr Ben Kwong to give a sharing talk for students and researchers on his research and career development paths. Mr Kwong is a graduate of CUHK, a well-known local stock market commentator and financial columnist, and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of KGI Securities. The talk was held at the Idea Exchange of the University Library.
Mr Kwong shared on the gains, losses, joy and difficulties of working in the finance industry based on personal experience of over twenty years, and analyzed the requirements of and preparation for a career in the industry. He graduated from CUHK with Bachelor degree of Social Science majoring in Economics, Master's degree in Economics and Diploma in Finance. In addition, he has also been awarded a Master's degree in Buddhist Studies by The University of Hong Kong.
