Successful Presentations: It’s All about the Message

Co-organized with The Independent Learning Centre (ILC), the Library was pleased to offer this presentation skills workshop for research postgraduate students. The workshop was held at the Idea Exchange of the University Library.

This workshop covered the key strategies that participants should use to plan and deliver presentations to capture audiences' attention and effectively convey their message. The participants discussed common areas of difficulty, and participated in a number of practise presentation activities. They also learned how to design and use visual aids effectively, as well as deal with questions.
