- Techniques and hands-on training in using the Easy Search, Library Catalogue, electronic databases and Internet search tools to locate journal articles, books, theses, conference proceedings, multimedia materials and free Internet resources
- Introduction to ways of access to information sources in the campus libraries and beyond
- Managing and creating reference citations with RefWorks
- Observing Intellectual Property and Copyright Law during research
