NVivo 12 Workshops

The Library is pleased to offer the following workshops for staff and postgraduate students to use NVivo to conduct research analysis. CUHK staff and postgraduate students are all welcome to join.

NVivo 12: A Tool for Data Coding and Conceptual Building

The foundation workshop on NVivo 12 will introduce key features for researchers conducting qualitative research. You will learn importing files, organizing files in folders, approaches in coding (theories in use or grounded theory), and coding techniques and strategies. Participants will learn the process of coding while building an understanding how evidence can be gathered from the cyclical circle for confirming the existing conceptual framework or building a new model for further analysis.

  • Interested participants will need to bring your own notebook computer with NVivo 12 installed before attending the workshop. Participants are welcome to bring along your own qualitative research project data.
