    To enhance the study environment and accommodate users' need on study, research and learning spaces, renovation will be untaken in the Law Library TKP 4/F & 3/F from May 18 to mid-August, 2020.     CUHK Library has rolled out a new service whereby staff and students can request an e-copy of an existing library print book to be purchased if the e-copy is available.

    After Login, eligible user can submit e-copy recommendation via LibrarySearch ( ). Click the link “E-Copy Request” under “Get It “of the library book record and fill out the recommendation form. Email notification will be sent to the user advising whether the e-copy recommendation can be fulfilled.

    To enhance access to library materials and in response to users’ feedback in the 2019 Library Survey, we are pleased to announce that a pilot Self-pickup Station with 18 lockers is now available at the Shaw College. The secured lockers enable CUHK students and staff to pick up books they request and return without having to go to a library.

    This Station is the first of its kind among all university libraries in Hong Kong that is installed outside of a library building. It comes with a user-friendly touchscreen interface. As a pilot run, the Station has 18 lockers and a book drop. When a requested item is ready to be picked up at the station, users will receive an email pickup notice from the Library.
