Fee-based Library Membership
Current members of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) may make use of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Library. Details are as follows.
Students of the CUHK-Shenzhen
Current students of the CUHK-Shenzhen may apply for a Reader’s Card at HK$705 (per year) or HK$140 (per month). Library privileges include:
- Onsite access to library collections
- Onsite access to most library e-resources using library computer terminals
- Use of library facilities
- Enquiry services
Please note students studying under the double major programme with CUHK-Shenzhen will receive a CU Link card when they commence studies on CUHK-HK campus.
Staff of the CUHK-Shenzhen
Current Staff of the CUHK-Shenzhen may apply for a Visiting Scholar Reader’s Card or Borrower’s Card at HK$60 per year. Library privileges include:
- Borrowing privileges (for Borrower’s Card only): 10 items (at any one time) for 30 days
- Onsite access to library collections
- Onsite access to most library e-resources using library computer terminals
- Use of library facilities
- Enquiry services
Remarks:
- All applications must be made via the CUHK-Shenzhen Library.
- All card fees are subject to yearly review. Pro-rata rate is not available.
- Non-CUHK-Shenzhen members, including alumni of the CUHK-Shenzhen, who have research needs may apply for a fee-based library membership.
